Fibernx Operates after the Opening of Canada’s First Carbon Fiber Processing Facility

Fibernx’s COO Dr. Yasmine Abdin attended the grand opening of Canada’s first carbon fiber processing facility at InnoTech Alberta. The following week, the Fibernx team was operating on-site, working to make the first carbon fiber tow produced in Canada.

Dr. Yasmine shared: “This line represents a major milestone in our scale-up. We are now able to demonstrate our production capabilities and study our production economics at a larger scale. It enables us to produce tows that we can provide to end users to validate performance and to secure commercial contracts.”
